Our Story

Goat Track Social Club (GTSC) was founded in Edmonton in 2020 with a simple belief: golf should be for everyone. Our motto — Golf is for Everyone™ — reflects our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in a game that’s too often seen as exclusive.
Our logo, MOE, pays tribute to Canadian golf legend Moe Norman, representing authenticity and an unconventional approach — values that are core to who we are. From day one, we’ve embraced experimentation — not every idea sticks, but every step forward helps us grow. In all ways, always.
Along the way, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with some incredible brands and organizations — including Adidas Golf, Callaway Golf, Seachange Brewing, the City of Edmonton, AARCS, Lexus of Edmonton, Pioneer Golf, and Sorrentino’s Compassion House. We’ve even found our way into the pages of ScoreGolf Canada.
We’ve also been presented with some cool opportunities - that still make us smile:
-
Golf Town once approached us about bringing Goat Track to select retail locations across Canada. Imagine..
-
We were invited to be the main sponsor of the players’ lounges at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto. We do have a couple Oilers, that we know of, that rock a little GTSC..
-
We collaborated on two limited-edition beers: Footwedge Lager with Seachange Brewing and Easy Tiger Lager with Town Square Brewing. Cheers to a good time. Always responsibly, don't be a loser.
-
Over the years, a number of well-known individuals, with much larger social media audiences than ours, have proudly worn GTSC — while we don’t name-drop, a quick look at our Instagram our tells our story.
We’ve also developed thoughtful collaborations with industry leaders, including custom limited runs with Jones Golf Co, Callaway Golf (special thanks to Jim for keeping our bags fully stocked) and Adidas Golf (the MC80 is our go-to shoe — and we’re grateful to Ryan and the Adidas team for their continued support).
Our gear is designed with both comfort and style in mind — pieces that transition effortlessly from the course to everyday life. And through every purchase, our customers help support our Lil Goats initiative, which provides young golfers with the equipment and opportunities they need to discover the game for themselves.
Most recently in 2022, we started operating Rundle Park: The Short Course — a par-58 gem in Edmonton. We like to call it “the most public course with the most private feel.” It's the kind of place where the two of us — a couple of PGA of Canada Pros — can sneak out for a quick loop, maybe chase a low number (mostly sunshine, touch some grass) and share a few laughs with buds along the way.
At GTSC, we’re focused on building a brand — and a community — that’s inclusive, forward-thinking and wouldn’t be what it is without the people behind it. Two individuals that have been with us since the very beginning, each bring something special to our journey.
-
Penny Roach, affectionately known as our favourite Lil’ Goat, was crowned “best swing in the world” at just 7 years old — and now at 9, she’s swinging it even better. From the very beginning, Penny has carried the GTSC message with pure joy, infectious energy, and a love for the game that reminds us exactly why we do what we do: to keep golf fun, inclusive and full of possibility for the next generation.
- Irene Crowchild is a two-time Canadian Long Drive Champion and a proud member of the Tsuut’ina Nation. She embodies everything we stand for — strength, heart and authenticity. Irene is more than just an elite athlete; she’s a mentor, a role model and a powerful voice for Indigenous representation in the game. Her presence, both in golf and in our community, continues to inspire.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
With love and appreciation,
Garrett + Cody

“Making a successful luxury brand in nine years is genius. It’s a feat that I admire and hope to continue building upon with a rich legacy. He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
