Vintage "Tonquin by Cloverdale" 1950s Wool Cardigan
This made in EDMONTON vintage 1950s era wool cardigan is an absolute treasure! The cardigan has a high set rounded “shawl” collar and raglan type sleeves. The shawl collar is actually a second layer that I think that you could wear down to make the cardigan collarless. It is knit in a ribbed pattern in a rich goldenrod yellow colour with navy trim. It does up the front with six plastic buttons and has a shallow pocket built onto either lower front side.
Label: Tonquin by Cloverdale. Cloverdale Knitting Mills was located in the Edmonton and was established in 1930s
Condition: The cuff on the left sleeve, due to creasing and has started to separate.
I would size this as a modern day M, please refer to the measurements below for an accurate fit.
