Our Story

Goat Track Social Club (GTSC) was founded in Edmonton in 2020 with a simple belief: golf should be for everyone. Our motto — Golf is for Everyone™ — reflects our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in a game that’s often seen as exclusive.

Each piece must transition effortlessly from the course to life. And through every purchase, our customers help support our Lil Goats initiative, which provides young golfers with the equipment and opportunities they need to discover the game for themselves.

Our logo, MOE (named by our good friend David via IG contest), pays tribute to Canadian golf legend Moe Norman, representing authenticity and an unconventional approach. From day one, we’ve embraced experimentation, not every idea sticks, but every step helps us grow. In all ways, always.

Along the way, we’ve had the honour of partnering with some incredible people and organizations including Adidas Golf, Callaway Golf, Seachange Brewing, the City of Edmonton, AARCS, Lexus of EdmontonPioneer Golf, and Sorrentino’s Compassion House. We’ve even found our way into the pages of ScoreGolf Canada.

We’ve also been presented with some cool opportunities that still make us laugh:

  • Golf Town once approached us about bringing Goat Track to select retail locations across Canada. Ask us why we're not.

  • Invited to be title sponsor of the players’ lounges at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto. We do have a couple Oilers, that we know of, that rock a little GTSC. Go Oilers. Sorry, eh.

  • Collaborated on two limited-edition adult beverages: The Footwedge Lager with Seachange Brewing and Easy Tiger Lager with Town Square Brewing. Cheers to a good time. Always responsibly, don't be a loser.

  • Over the years, a number of well-known individuals, with much larger social media audiences than ours, have proudly worn GTSC. A quick look at our Instagram our tells our story.

From the start, GTSC has been rooted in community as much as it has been in brand. Inclusive, forward-thinking, and built by the people who believe in it. Two individuals who’ve been with us since day one have helped shape our path, each contributing something special to the story we’re still writing.

  • Penny Roach, affectionately known as our favourite Lil’ Goat, was crowned “best swing in the world” at just 7 years old — and now at 10, she’s swinging it even better. From the very beginning, Penny has carried the GTSC message with pure joy, infectious energy, and a love for the game that reminds us exactly why we do what we do: to keep golf fun, inclusive and full of possibility for the next generation.

  • Irene Crowchild is a two-time Canadian Long Drive Champion and a proud member of the Tsuut’ina Nation. She embodies everything we stand for — strength, heart and authenticity. Irene is more than just an elite athlete; she’s a mentor, a role model and a powerful voice for Indigenous representation in the game. Her presence, both in golf and in our community, continues to inspire.

From the beginning, GTSC has been built at the intersection of golf operations, creativity, and community.

Garrett has been at the helm of Rundle Park since 2022, overseeing its evolution as Director of Golf and leading the creation of Shortees Restaurant, shaping everything from the menu to the look and feel of the space.

Cody spent three years working alongside Garrett in golf operations before stepping into a newly established Media & Merchandising Associate role at Mill Woods Golf Course. Helping shape a position that bridges media, retail, and storytelling.

I know crazy right, we're both PGA of Canada golf professionals. Different roles. Shared values. One belief that golf and the culture around it can always get better.

That belief shows up in quiet ways. Together with our loyal GTSC customers, we’ve supported a U-13 girls baseball team, hosted Golf Days in partnership with Liz, Gina, and Rundle Park and helped make golf more approachable through free balls, tees, club rentals, the occasional GTSC piece, lessons, and course access for those who might not otherwise have a way in. And believe it or not, like Kobe said. MORE

We don’t talk about it much. We don’t lead with it. Even though our marketing team says we should.

Anyways. Long story short. Thank you.

With love and appreciation,
Garrett + Cody

“Making a successful luxury brand in nine years is genius. It’s a feat that I admire and hope to continue building upon with a rich legacy. He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
